Wherever possible we re market surplus IT equipment since much IT equipment that is routinely consigned to landfill still has a lot of life in it. This provides the opportunity for revenue return to our clients, as well as decreasing, offsetting or eliminating disposal and transportation costs.
Therefore at eCycleAberdeen the recycling route is only taken for equipment which has no further use, which is damaged beyond repair, is of no value to charitable organizations, or which is no longer marketable.
Please note that, in general, used computer equipment over four years old has little or no resale value.
